Purpose of the course

This unit standard is for people who conduct internal and external moderation of outcomes-based assessments. Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to moderate assessments in terms of the relevant outcome statements and quality assurance requirements.

Assessment & Certification

Assessors and moderators courses are now online live classes with a lecturer providing students the opportunity to engage in real-time, interactive learning, fostering a dynamic educational environment despite the physical distance. Through a virtual platform, participants can actively participate, ask questions, and collaborate with peers. On completion of the course and after successful completion of a Portfolio of Evidence, the learner will be issued with a certificate of competence. This certificate will be accepted by SAQA and the relevant ETQA should you wish to register as an Assessor.
